In March 2007-03-12 I joined Carillion Alawi LLC, Sultanate of Oman an associated undertaking of Carillion plc of the United Kingdom as a Quantity Surveyor. My duties were include; I handled Structural & Finishes work.
Agreement of measured quantities with the works contractors
Checking & approval of Interim and final accounts submitted by the works contractors
Identification, justification of variations, additional works and extras claims submitted by the works contractor
Pricing and agreement of star rates, rate build-ups and day works submitted by the works contractors
Measurements and cross-referencing of instructions, Variations and site record files
Prepare cost responses for advice to the client about final figure of the project.

This project Carillion Alawi LLC has been appointed as a Management Contractor for the Qasr Al - Alam Guest Complex to the existing palace in Muscat 200 million dollar project in Sultanate of Oman. This project consist of 220 works packages including Structural, Civil works, MEP works,& Marble ,Tile,& Stone, Gold gilding, & Joinery and Gypsum. In this project I have been responsible for a number of Works Package. Carillion are responsible for the overall Programme and Cost plan of the project. This also very rear opportunity that I have to work with the management Contractor.

Sanken Lanka (pvt) Ltd is a Japanese company I worked as a site Senior Quantity Surveyor. My duties were limited only for the working site narahenpita resident site & hedges court, srilanka. In this site
