Current project responsibilities:
• MEP Project Coordination of 23 Cluster Multi-storey Car parks supplying 69 mixed residential/commercial towers/retail areas. All towers are between 35-45 floors.
• MEP Project Management of a 250 suite, four star Hotel, 60 triplex Marina Apartments and project infrastructure.
Main Duties:
Manage co-ordinate and review MEP contractor/consultant contractual obligations, strategies and procedures.
Monitor and implement local Municipality safety regulations and procedures.
Lead co-ordination/project status meetings and technical meetings with local utility authorities ie: DEWA, RTA, JAFZA - EHS/CED, ministerial agencies, clients, developers, consultants, contractors and facility management companies.
Monitor MEP site execution works to ensure contractors are following clause 14 programs, all relevant and latest drawings, material/installation on site is as contractual specifications, installations meet all building and authority regulations. Review consultants comments and approvals of all materials, shop drawings, technical queries and recommendations.
Monitor and review final handover procedures, final inspections, deficiency lists, and defect liability periods along with warranties/guarantees. Review and recommend on contractors claims related to MEP works, extension of time and variations.
Advising/assisting the client through value engineering, informing senior management regarding future circumstances that will/may affect the project status, final handover, obtaining PCC or BCC certificates.

Main site Duties:

Project co-ordination with the main contractor on site progress, handovers, clearance for 1st/2nd/final fix in building finishes including slab/core wall/column works ie; electrical conduiting, risers cut-outs, mechanical sleeves, mechanical/electrical openings).
Daily communication between HVAC/plumbing/electrical engineers. Handling all NCR`s/NCN`s/JSN`s from consultants.
Co-ordination of all MEP services ie: CHW pipe routing, FCU locations, Fire fighting/sprinkler pipe work, MFD`s and obtaining grid/boarding clearance for MEP services.
Supervising installations of AHU`s, RAHU`s, booster pumps, Heat exchangers, primary, secondary, tertiary pumps. Co-coordinating installation of ACB rooms, L.V. Rooms, battery rooms.
Working on BMS/ELV installations ie; Access control, CCTV, fire alarm, emergency lighting systems.
Co-ordination of BMS system ie; control monitoring of AHU`s, booster pumps, VFD`s, L.V/ACB room power monitoring, ATS panels, ESS/Non ESS DB`s, lift machine rooms, Main power distribution ie; ACB—MCCB—Busbars—tap off units—SMDB—DB. Cable selection.

• The position with this company involved working all over the UK mainly on the re-fitting of various medium sized commercial projects (Morrisons/ Safeways). Reporting directly to the project management department concerning installation and coordination issues, monitoring site progress producing targeted reports and work time based evaluations. Coordinating between various sub contractors to ensure targeted handover dates were completed.
