    oPrevious duties as Associate Editor, as well as:
    oLiaising with Sales & Marketing to determine which press releases and ads to incorporate.
    oPreparing the final magazine layout (determining which articles to include and how to best incorporate advertisements).

    •5/09 – present Editor: On Campus Magazine
    oBrainstorming ideas and compiling an editorial plan for each issue (every 6 weeks).
    oMeeting the magazine’s print deadline, assigning individual deadlines for student writers and following-up on their progress.
    oReviewing articles throughout the writing process to ensure that the proper research, interviews and information is included.
    oEditing entire magazine contents.

    oEdited entire magazine contents, a top women’s lifestyle (beauty, fashion, interviews with locals, social issues, events, interiors, etc.) publication in Jordan.
    oConducted interviews and wrote about various people in Jordan, such as writers, directors, artists, visiting spiritual leaders, local talents, philanthropists, and entrepreneurs, etc.
    oResearched and wrote articles on a variety of subjects, including living green in Jordan, outdoor activities, expatriate life, Ramadan drinks and domestic violence.
    oOversaw and guided two VIVA interns: introduced them to office processes, helped with writing and research methodology, incorporated work into my own articles and oversaw independent work, served as a mentor.

    oLaunched, edited, and created layout for the first issue of the Department of Surgery’s biannual newsletter.

    oCreated time-saving document for faculty affairs team (used as a template for database restructuring as well as weekly meetings).
    oComposed letters of recommendation for faculty promotions, Department of Surgery / faculty appointments, Department of Medicine.
    oCorresponded frequently with top doctors and administrators within the institution and around the country regarding various administrative projects.
