I am currently working for InBev an International Brewer as a Field Sales Representative. I have been here for nearly a year. InBev gave me a good sales foundation where I undertook a structured sales course. I have since then had the chance to put this training to practical use. We are encouraged to act as owners who are self motivated by results. Most of the time we work from home so organisation and self discipline have really helped me excel at my job.
I have managed to build great relationships with customers. I see relationship building as one of my strengths. My work is predominantly account management but 20% of my time was taken up with new business. This is the aspect of the job I preferred. I love the chase, and this is where I am looking to progress my career.
Before this I worked in Argentina for a wine magazine. I was instrumental in the creation and development of their tourism department. I was the face of the company managing our customers and looking after them during their time in Argentina. This greatly helped my people skills as I had to look after people from all different backgrounds and interests.
