Business Strategist/Resourcefullness/Relationship
My experience includes creating a symbiotic relationship between Crème
de la Crème and BMW. This generated BMW exposure on our restaurant costing us nothing but the branding which lasted a year gave us wider appeal and similar exposure.
In addition, I saw a possibility of owning and developing my own taxi business seeing it as a viable concern which I developed and later sold. I produced a database in both above examples and matched customer expectations.
Relationshipand Partnernership Building.
Whilst managing the community centre I encouraged partnership with colleges and local crèche to set up courses to facilitate learning and training for local community.
Sales Planning and Procedures.
At Crème de la Crème I introduced the idea of a delivery service to Glasgow West-end. This was at a time when computers in the restaurant business were uncommon. We provided takeaway and delivery solutions to restaurant customers. Sales increased by £150k. I also introduced the loyalty card concept. By analyzing the sales trend we could set staff and resources aside to maximize sales.
Coaching and Team Building.
Excellent at creating a climate in which people can learn by ensuring all are important and building consensus through an open and efficient working environment. Being dependable, hard working, and energetic I can transpose my way of working to others by example.
Organisational Ability and Agility. I
t is essential to organize my tasks effectively to reduce my work load and increase my capacity. I have the presence of mind and forethought to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining accuracy through logical and forward thinking.
