Project: Emergency Telemedicine Biomedical System

This project won the first prize in the Youth Week of Egyptian universities in 2007, and has participated in many conferences and competitions and has been highly appreciated.
This project is to build a wireless ECG that extracts the heart signal from the human being and converts it to a digital format that is transmitted wirelessly through the mobile phone of the patient over the cellular network to the mobile phone (of the doctor) which is connected to a computer through the USB/Serial port, where a Matlab software recognizes the signal and displays it in a GUI interface as well as saving this signal in the database along with the patients’ other data.
My role included:
•Implementing the analog module required in the acquisition of the heart signal.
•Sharing ideas with the software interface and the database structure teams
•Developing the connection with the mobile phone receiver via the USB and Serial port.
•Leading the team responsible for the heart signal conditioning.
•Delegate tasks to other team members.
Computer Skills:
•Good programming skills (Analysis, Design & Coding) using MATLAB
•Good use of peripheral ports (serial port and USB) using MATLAB
•Excellent at hardware maintenance & network installation
•Excellent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
Personality:
Creative, open minded, flexible, enthusiastic, fast learner, with excellent skill communicating within a team work, and high ability to work under pressure in various locations and irregular working hours and days.
