I have extensive experience as a mechanic and as a supervisor with major inspections, repairs, and overhaul of various gas turbine power generators. The types of gas turbine units include Rolls Royce model 1533 and 1535, Pratt and Whitney GG4A-7 and Worthington expanders,Hispano Suiza models 1202 and 1203, General Electric frame 3 and 5, as well as the lesser popular models of Fiat TG7, Ruston Tornado, Werkspoor(Westinghouse), and English Electric units.
My experience includes the complete disassembly, inspection, and component repair(s) as well as the re-assembly and testing of the units, and the preparation of all reports. These functions include the use of special design tooling and the procedures for their use , the use of all inspection devices and procedures, and the ability to interpret and use all the special instruction information from the manufactures and repair vendors.
I have worked with all the various vendor representative from the manufactures as well as many after-market repair vendors from the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, and USA.

These intensive training sessions included the design and function of all major components and systems of the gas turbine unit and the auxiliary equipment. The courses included theory and practical hands-on learning of the major maintenance practices and procedures of the complete inspection and overhaul of the gas turbine units.
The course sessions also included general instruction on the topics of safety, report formulation, general mechanical mathematics, and general work productivity procedures.
