Employment Experience
July 1970 – September 1976
- Metallurgical Establishment El Arte S.A, company devoted to carriers manufacturing. During two years I worked as the main person planning projects, calculating, designing and projecting conveyor belts such as those for carrying luggage, which nowadays are in Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral main halls (Buenos Aires Airport) and customs (Ezeiza Airport); automation and movement in bottling plants like Peñaflor S.A, Sasetru, Cerveza Quilmes, Coca-Cola, Pepsi Cola, Arizu, Giol S.A. I did all kind of additional installations for the efficient working of these companies. I devoted my last year there to estimate their budgets and plants layout.
Permanence: 6 years.
October 1976 – May 1980
- Industrial Establishment Suizo Argentino, company devoted to electric equipment and crane bridges manufacturing. In this company I worked in the areas of engineering management and technical purchasing as well as estimating budgets and monitoring contractors in building sites. I did crane bridges which are now being used in companies such as Dálmine Siderca, Pescarmona S.A., Techint S.A., Atomic Energy Comission, Celulosa Argentina, Petroquímica Comodoro Rivadavia and others of equal scale.

May 1980 – July 1984
- Coca-Cola S.A. An ongoing processing company devoted to produce carbonated drinks, well known all over the world. I was the Plant Engineer and Maintenance Manager; I reported to the Production Manager and directly supervised 60 technicians in different tasks. These tasks were:
• Vapour Generation
• Cold Generation
• Power Station
• Evaluation of Direction and Maintenance technical staff as well as putting into practise the training program and promoting this one.
• Tracking control and improvement of all jobs related to Industrial Security (fire net, extinguishers, industrial defence, training of emergency squads, etc...)

October 1984 – February 1989
- Shell Cia Argentina de Petróleo S.A. I entered the Sales Department as an Engineer, Technical and Commercial adviser. My job was to provide Customer Service to clients from Argentina, Uruguay and Chile in all problems related to a great variety of fuels and lubricants used, having as a goal increasing our sales. Other works included the constant advising to industries in the country and abroad, meetings with technical and administrative staff and new products launching.
Permanence in the area: 3 years
I was then transferred into the Lubricants Plant as Engineering Manager. My responsibilities in the position were:
• General maintenance of the plant, including Vapour Generator (smoke tube boiler), Air Compressors (screw equipment) and Bottling Lines.
• Control and approval of all jobs done by different companies.
• Development and improvement of new plastic containers (Shell Super Plus, Helix).
• Industrial Security Manager.

September 1989 – August 1992
- Carballo & Co., a company which manufactures automatic systems for the carbonated soft drinks and beer bottling industry. In this company I worked as the Commercial Manager Assistant. My duty was the whole supplying of stainless steel, casting, special steel, electric engines, and pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Bidding and awarding. Purchasing control.

December 1992 – Nowadays
Marle Plastics – This company commercialises engineering polymers in all forms, including its mechanizing and technical support to food companies, oil companies, cement companies, chemists and laboratories. Experience and knowledge of polymers processing are necessary.
Sales works include organization focused on the permanent relation between the technicians, commercial staff and customers. We constantly incorporate new materials developed abroad for the better performance and efficiency of our industry. Travelling to visit our clients is an important part of my job, which may also bring new potential clients. Simultaneously, in 2000, I was in Germany (CCT GmbH) and Switzerland (Netstal) buying a Netstal injection moulding machine of plastics closures for glass and plastics bottles. Then I have made the complete installation of the machine in Argentina, supervising an equipment of German and Swisses technicians.
Also, and part-time, I am external technical advisor of GE Polymer Shapes – Dayplas, bringing engineering solutions for specific customers, relationed in the food and drinks industry.
