Position: Junior Geotechnical Engineer
O Assists in the evaluation of test results, calculation of soil parameters for foundation and general geotechnical design.
O Occasionally assigned to monitor and supervise geotechnical field works.
O Prepares programs in Microsoft excel for laboratory testing in accordance to project specifications and requested quantities for various projects in coordination with the Geotechnical Engineer.
O Checks out and carefully re-logs samples collected from the site or submitted by Clients to the laboratory.
O Ensures that the testing program and specific tests are carried out by laboratory soil technicians according to ASTM, AASHTO, ACI or DPWH standards and procedures. Sees to it that tests are carried out and completed on scheduled time.
O Collects and checks laboratory test results and ensures that worksheets are properly accomplished and data are accurately computed, graphed and signed.
O Prepares final logs of boreholes and test pits. Prepares soil profiles as necessary and as directed.
