    Production Technician in Operation Department

    Responsibilities:
    Operate, monitor and control equipment and plant. Administer the various operations,
    Production and reporting systems. Monitor and control all production, utility and fire &
    Gas systems and maintain records. Ensure all relative information is reported to the
    Relevant people. Respond to emergencies as required in accordance with Emergency
    Procedures. Carry out emergency response duties as per the Site Emergency Plan.
    Ensure that all production systems are operated safely, efficiently and with maximum
    Availability and that emergency systems are maintained in a state of readiness and
    Availability. Responsible for the preparation and isolation of plant and equipment for
    Maintenance and reinstatement, including pressure and leak testing.
    Scope: Knowledge and hands on experience of site production, utilities, emergency shut down, operation, and control systems.


    Safety Representative’s Chairman (May 2007-present)

    Responsibilities:
    • Help integrate health and safety programs into routine departmental operations

    • Ensure that an effective internal network exists for communicating health and safety information to their department

    • assist work area supervisors to identify safety and environmental hazards, perform risk assessments and implement risk control measures

    Assist in the preparation of start-up planning and procedures, with specific responsible for preparing the start-up P&ID’s for Sangachal Terminal Expansion Projects.
    Worked within the operations team during phase 1 start-up and have a good understanding of the ACG phase 1 and phase 2 oil, gas, DPCU gas plant and utility facilities.
    Completed web based operator training modules for ACG phase 1,2 facilities.
    Compiled the plant daily monitoring check sheets and also carried out routine audits of lock valve register.
    Worked within commissioning team during “Green line” review and punch listing.
    Participated in HAZOPS and risk assessments for plant start-up.
    Compilation of leak testing documentation for inclusion into leak test contractor selection ITT Worked with contractor to understand the technical and practical requirements of leak testing.
    Trained in ASA and Stop programs and continually demonstrate safety awareness and leadership by regular ASA tours and safety conversations.
    Active member of the auxiliary fire team at Sangachal Terminal
