Production Technician in Operation Department
Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor and control equipment and plant. Administer the various operations,
Production and reporting systems. Monitor and control all production, utility and fire &
Gas systems and maintain records. Ensure all relative information is reported to the
Relevant people. Respond to emergencies as required in accordance with Emergency
Procedures. Carry out emergency response duties as per the Site Emergency Plan.
Ensure that all production systems are operated safely, efficiently and with maximum
Availability and that emergency systems are maintained in a state of readiness and
Availability. Responsible for the preparation and isolation of plant and equipment for
Maintenance and reinstatement, including pressure and leak testing.
Scope: Knowledge and hands on experience of site production, utilities, emergency shut down, operation, and control systems.

• Help integrate health and safety programs into routine departmental operations
• Ensure that an effective internal network exists for communicating health and safety information to their department
