I I have 10+ years work experience in Information Technologies particularly in network design, engineering, and systems administration, 7 of them serving companies operating in oil and gas industry.
I’m familiar with all contemporary server platforms and experienced in most of them. I managed NT4 and Win2000/Win2003 (Active Directory) platforms as domain controllers, DNS (Dynamic DNS) and WINS for name resolution, and DHCP for dynamic IP address assigning. I’ve installed trust relationship for several NT/AD domains and forests located in different sites. I used KiXtart, Visual Basic and Script Logic as a logon processor. I’ve installed, configured and managed such MS BackOffice products as Exchange Server, SQL Server, ISA (proxy) Server, IAS (RADIUS authentication provider) and performed backup (schedule based) using Veritas software, and SDLT and LTO2/LTO3 tapes. I’ve setup and managed IIS and SharePoint Portal Server and used it for Intranet web solutions. I’ve managed corporate client/server applications using BDE Administrator and SQL Server. I designed and configured applications access via remote terminal using Citrix MetaFrame XP platform.
I’m experienced with Cisco IOS v.11.0/12.0. I setup and managed networks within multiVLAN environment using Cisco Catalyst 1900/2900/3500/3700/4000s and HP ProCurve 2500/2600s switches. I managed Cisco transparent VTP domain (10 internal and 7 client 802.1q VLANs). I setup WAN channels using RIPv2, OSPF and EIGRP as dynamic routing protocols. I configured Cisco 1700 router to provide VoIP services to remote (offshore) locations, Cisco 2500 for HDLC, Cisco 2600 for Frame Relay and 2xE1 PPP multilink connections, Cisco 2821 as a router with integrated IDS, Cisco Aironet 1240AG as a wireless access point and bridge. I also setup and managed Cisco PIX501/515 firewall to provide VPN services and tunnels using IPSec and 3DES.
I’ve setup and managed Netgear ISDN Router RT338 for ISDN-LAN connection and for LAN–LAN connection, and Netgear Modem Router RM356 for DialUp–LAN connection. I used ZyXEL Prestige SHDSL modems and routers for remote sites interconnection (within 3 km distance). I am also experienced with RAD FCD-E1 (SDH last mile connectivity) and RAD FCD-IP.
I am experienced in UNIX server environment as well. I used Linux and FreeBSD platforms as a NIS domain master/slave server, a proxy server (Squid), network firewall (IPCop and SmoothWall), mail server (Sendmail and Postfix), file server (Samba) and web server (Apache).
I hold Master Degree in Computer Engineering and Management and I am MCSE on Windows Server 2003, MCSA: Messaging on Windows Server 2003 and Cisco Certified Network Associate. I am a team player, can lead projects and meet deadlines. |
