I am currently working in SAIF PowertecLimited, at Head Office, as Sr. Manager (Service) as well as Head of Service since 18th January 2009 to till now. Some of my job related data and responsibilities are given below:
1. Full responsibility for Service & Maintenance activities of the Company for Diesel Generators & Equipments according to the framed out program for day-to-day Service & Maintenance.
2. Provide technical support to both existing and potential customers on their required Generator related problems.
3. Preparing effective planning to increase the sales of Spares & Service of sold Generator & Equipments of SAIF Powertec Ltd.
4. Preparing requirement of Service Spares to the top management to adjust the customer requirement.
5. Conduct periodical Technical Seminars and provide technical assistance to major clients as well as SAIF Service peoples for a smooth and better after sales support.
Previous:
I have been worked at MegaPower Engineering Ltd. From 15th August 2005 to 17th January 2009 as Dpt. Manager (Service) as well as looked after the whole Service Department. Some of my job related data and responsibilities over there are given below:
1. Leading the total service team with around 80 service peoples containing 6 B.Sc. Engrs. (Both Mechanical & Electrical), 12 Dip. Engrs., 60 Sr. Mechanics & Electricians with others technicians.
2. Have experience of DG at almost every major Tele-communication companies in Bangladesh (GP, AKTEL, Banglalink, CitiCell etc.); Real Estate companies like SEL, NAVANA, Shaptak, Sheltech etc; all the top leading Banks in Bangladesh. Our major client is GP. We have the corporate contract with SEL, NAVANA, Islami bank Bangladesh Ltd., National Bank Ltd., Southeast Bank Ltd. And many others.
3. Familiar with the 10-500 KVA DG of the world renowned brand Engines (John Deere, Perkins, Volvo Penta, CUMMINS) and Alternators (Mecc Alte Spa, Leroy Somer,), Ats accessories (DST4400 Control panel with SOCOMEC servo-motorized Contact, GE, LEGERD, SIEMENS brand Magnetic Contactor, Circuit breaker etc.), and Servicing spares (FLEETGUARD filters, MOBIL engine oil, Coolant).
4. Under the job responsibility I had to monitor the overall Routine Servicing, Fault handling, Installation & Commissioning along with making the Annual Maintenance Contact, Bill processing as per consumers given procedure, Fixing and achieving the periodical Service goal. Using a data bank I have to preserve all the past & present Servicing, Commissioning history of DG, also with making future goal to achieve it.
5. At 2006-2007 year I have been supervised installation & commissioning of more than 500 unit 25-40 KVA Diesel Generating sets at the different Green-Field & Roof-Top sites of Grameen Phone Ltd. Supervising the installation of some 100-500 KVA Gensets at several GP Switch, Link & Customer Care was also my turning point to reach here.
6. Achieved “Man of the Year, 2006” award at MegaPower Engineering Ltd.
