Details of the Project :
1) The details of the Third Buriganga bridge is as follows:
Total Length of bridge 708m, main bridge length 423m (span 47m, 9 spans),Approach bridge 285m(19 span,15m),Approach Roads 2.64 km at both sides.
Foundation details:
Having 96 nos. 1200mm dia. 32m long cast-in-situ piles at 8 nos. Pier foundations of main bridge and 132 nos. 600mm dia. 30m long cast-in-situ pile foundation at 19 nos. Pier foundation of approach bridges (viaducts).
Project details:
1) Having 8 nos. 47m long pre-stressed simply supported box girders of main bridge and 19 nos. RCC deck girder of approach bridges.
2) Approach roads are consists of earthwork, Sub-base, and Lower base, Upper-base, Asphalt binder course and Wearing course.
3) Slope protection work of the embankment and river training work at the two abutment of the bridge.
4) Electrical utility works in the bridge and in the approach roads, Road appurtenance works including drain, road signs & Thermoplastic road painting works etc.
Responsibilities:
Working as a Deputy Project Manager.
1) Responsible for design all type of formwork, shutter, false work (Staging for slab and girder concreting).
2) Fabrication and installation of centring truss (as a support to concreting Box-Girder). This is a truss of two part (main truss of length 39.8 m and two nosing truss of length 24 m each, depth of truss is 4 m) supported by two group of Roller (39.8 m apart) on trestle on pile cap. This idea was adopted only to facilitate navigation through Buriganga River (This one of the busiest water way of Bangladesh). After concreting one Box Girder the truss will be dragged to next span of bridge.
3) At the beginning of project engaged with survey work to fix the road alignment as well as fitting of horizontal and vertical curve by using Total Station.
4) Pre stressed calculation, cable layout, rebar & shop drawing checking , distribution of job among engineers, monitoring time to time progress ,daily, monthly working program preparation, checking subcontractor bill, communicate with client and consultant, monthly progress report preparation and submit to consultant.

Details of the Project :
The contract covers two independent scopes as mentioned hereunder:
1890 bored pile works or pilling installation of the North Pad and South Pad sites(To develop natural gas processing plant), including drilling, disposal of cuttings, fabricating reinforcing steel cages, placing concrete, and site cleanup.
20,000 Cu.M Ready-mixed concrete supply by providing on-site Concrete Batching plant, for both North and South pad locations, with complete operation crew, including supply of transit concrete mixers and other ready-mixed concrete handling and transport equipment.

Details of the Project :
1) Bhanga to Bhatiapara 37.6 Km National Highway consists of huge Q’ty of earthwork, Subbase, Lowerbase, Upperbase, Asphalt binder course and Wearing course.
2) 11 Nos. Pre-stressed girder bridges in which 4 nos. 3 span (20m) 60m bridge, 2 nos. 3 span (40m) 120m bridge, 1 no. 3 span (35m) 105m bridge, 2 nos. 1 span 40m (skew) bridge, 1 no. Single span 35m bridge & 1 no. 1 span 30m bridge including Bored 296 (including 8 nos. Test pile) Nos. Cast-in situ piles, 129 (incl. 3 nos. Test piles) Pre-cast piles, 112 nos. Pre-stressed girders.
3) 48 Nos. 3 cell, 2 cell and Single cell New RCC box culverts & 32 Nos. Rehabilitation works for existing RCC box culverts.
4) Slope protection work of bridge & Culvert as well as RCC drain, Road signs, Kilometer post, Right of way pillar & Road marking paint etc.
5) Multi-way round about, Cross roads & RCC Cause way.
Responsibilities :
January 2002 to January 2004
1) Design all type of form and false work of the bridge and culvert.
2) Quantity survey of road and other highway structure.
3) Fixing alignment, curve setting (both vertical and horizontal), prepare working drawing, rebar scheduling etc.
4) Supervision of Sub-Soil Structure such as Cast-in –situ and pre-cast pile.
5) Conducting pile load test, preparation its report and interpret the test result.
6) Sub-soil investigation (Ven shear and SPT).
7) Stress calculation of Pre-stressed Girder.
8) Fixing pile point (in river), road alignment by using Total Station.
9) Supervision of pre stressed I girder, pile cap, pier wall, pier cap and slab. Calculation of Pre stress, cable lay out, rebar checking, arranging concreting, shifting of girder, etc.
