Principal Duties:
1. Prepare the QC Department’s Monthly Report.
2. Develop and maintain user-friendly databases and reporting systems in order to monitor the following areas:
A) Status of inspection and testing requirements of each project.
B) Frequency, nature and root-causes of Shop Audit Findings and Observations, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Rejection Notices (RN) and Customer Complaints.
C) Welder productivity and performance.
D) Inspection cycle time, NDE resource and consumable utilization including sub-vendor(s).
E) Bending equipment/operator capacity and performance.
F) Other areas as deemed necessary by the QC Sr. Manager.
3. Develop data collection and statistical analysis schemes.
4. Develop and provide weekly rejection rate report and monthly Key Performance Indicator as part of cascading company objective.
5. Control, distribute and centralize all applicable project quality documents including drawings, procedures and those to be included in the MDR.
6. Conduct Internal Audit in order to determine the effectiveness of the implemented quality system.
7. Control of information technology assets in QC Department.

1999 – 2002 : QC Inspector II, PT. Alstom Power Energy Systems Indonesia
Principal Duties :
1. Ensure that qualified QC Inspectors are available to cover all required inspections and testing activities for all component/material under project execution.
2. Ensure that QC Inspectors perform the required inspection and testing and that the inspection status has been clearly marked on the component and/or routing/inspection sheet prior to next operation.
3. Assure that all specific detail requirements are provided to all QC Inspectors including customer approved document and continually update them with additional requirement as necessary.
4. Supervise in-process inspection performed by QC Inspectors for compliance to the code and customer requirements.
5. Prepare inspection check-sheets for monitoring the inspection status and inspection coverage of products.
6. Verify that welding documents, heat treatment procedures, repair procedures, weld maps, painting schedules and fabrication drawings are posted near the area adjacent to the parts being fabricated.
8. Initiate stop work for uncontrolled condition:
A) Review and verify non-conformances. Ensure that non-conforming products are segregated and properly marked.
B) Ensure that corrective action is done according to the disposition
C) Expedite disposition of the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) to Manufacturing Engineering to help on accelerating of the fabrication execution.
9. Conduct Shop Audits/Surveillance to verify compliance to established procedure.
10. Verify corrective action for audit/surveillance findings from QC Inspector/Production Supervisor
11. Maintain Project Files to ensure completeness of project quality documentation.
12. Verify that routing and/or inspection sheets are posted on the work centers and are being signed off by the assigned QC Inspectors after inspection and acceptance of the work.
13. Verify that QC Inspectors perform final inspections of the completed parts/components for completeness, cleanliness, proper marking, packing and handling.
14. Ensure that the Authorized Inspector is given advance notice of his inspection hold point and through Project Management provide advance notice to related inspection authority and customer representative when required.
15. Ensure that all inspection records are forwarded to the QC Supervisor & Quality Engineer after completion and final acceptance including the routing sheets for preparation of Manufacturer’s Data Report.
16. When required, act as Quality Control Manager, perform other quality-related duties as directed by the Quality Control Manager.
1996 – 1999 : QC Inspector I, PT. Asea Brown Bovery ( ABB ) Energy Systems Indonesia
Principal Duties:
1. Perform verification and inspection of materials (Pressure parts and Non Pressure parts) before fabrication start according to the routing sheet, applicable drawing and procedure requirements. Verification of transferred material marking prior to and after cutting according to the routing sheet and procedure requirements.
2. Perform layout inspection of Assembly Jig prior to fit-up and welding of the element according to the routing sheet, applicable drawing and customer requirement.
3. Perform welding inspection, compliance workmanship to the procedure requirements and take immediate action when there is a welding problem and initiate to stop work and remove the welder from work.
4. Perform other non-destructive testing as qualified according to the written practice, interpret the significant indication and write the report correctly.
5. Verify that Post Weld Heat Treatment preparation (if any) is done according the procedure including of the thermocouple placement and review the PWHT Chart to meet the requirement.
6. Perform dimensional inspection of element assembly in complying with the accepted Assembly Jig and identification tag before painting according to the routing sheet, applicable drawing and customer requirement
7. Ensure and witness Hydrostatic Test execution (if any) according to the Hydrostatic Procedure and routing sheet.
8. Perform final inspection in conjunction with authorized inspector, customer representative and local authority & provide all quality reports related to the assigned job.
9. Maintain measuring and test equipment in a good condition and calibrated.
10. Perform inspection on painting preparation and inspect the finished paint for thickness and visual appearance, uniformity including of identification according to the procedure, applicable drawing and routing sheet.
11. Perform corrective action and verification of Shop/NDE Surveillance result according to the disposition and notify the Quality Control Sr. Supervisor for close out of Non-Conformance Report (NCR).
12. Perform and act as Quality Control Supervisor for other quality inspection related duties as directed by Quality Control Sr. Supervisor and Quality Control Sr. Manager.
