    I have more than 15 yrs experience in process engineering for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemicals,
    and Polymer areas both main process plant as well as offsite and utilities. I have worked on Front
    End Engineering as well as Detail Engineering projects; have developed basic engineering packages
    for process plants and offsite and utilities, done de-bottlenecking studies and residual engineering
    work. I have also actively participated in hazard analysis and HAZOP studies. I have used process
    simulation software ChemCAD 3.0, HYSIS and Pipeline Simulation Software PipeSim, Pipephase
    and TGNET. PDO Shell approved HAZOP Leader, conducted various Design Review and HAZOPs.
    Career highlights and specific experience includes:
    • Preparation of Process Deliverables such as PFD, P & ID, Equipment Process Datasheets,
    Process Philosophies /Design basis for Front End Design and Detail Design projects.

    projects estimated project cost 850 Million USD) consisting of Water Treatment Plant, Steam
    Generation Facilities consisting of HRSGs as well as Oil and Gas Facilities such as Test
    Separators, FWKOs, Produced Gas Compressor, Tank Vapour Recovery Units along with
    associated facilities.
    • Worked as Lead Process Engineer for a team of 9 process engineers at peak time working
    for Detailed Design of 150000BPD Occidental – Mukhaizna Full Facility Development EPC
    Project (one of the largest Enhanced Oil Recovery projects in the world, estimated project
    cost 300 Million USD) consisting of 2 Satellite Stations and one Central Processing Facility
    utilising Steam Assisted Production of Heavy Crude Oil, work involved verification of FED,
    Firming up of Design Basis and Operating Control and Safeguarding Philosophy for the
    complete plant, Verification of Process Model and Heat and Mass Balance, Updating of
    Process Datasheets for Procurement and Vendor Data Review, Vendor Coordination / Design
    Interfaces.
    • Worked as Lead Process Engineer for FED of Expansion of Sohar PRT for Oman Gas
    Company.
    • Worked as Lead Process Engineer for FED/DD of Test Separator conversion (2 Phase to 3
    Phase) work involves sizing of Test Separator for 3 Phase to identify the modifications

    • Worked as Lead Process Engineer and Project Coordinator for Sohar Pressure Reduction
    Terminal (Largest Capacity in Oman - 21.5 MMSCMD), which includes facilities such as
    pressure reduction, gas conditioning filters and heaters, custody transfer metering, instrument
    gas system. The job involved FED followed by Project Management of EPC Phase. The FED
    phase included

    • Worked as Project Coordinator for FED of Muscat Sohar Crude Pipeline: Job involves EPC
    Tender Compilation, Bid Clarifications, Technical Tender Evaluation followed by preparation
    of Technical Evaluation Report.
    • Worked as Process Engineer for Integrity Evaluation of Pipeline Launcher and Receiver
    Systems for one large oil/gas production company of neighbouring country. Work involves
     Study of Existing Facilities ( about 100 pig traps)
     Preparation of Standard Design Specification covering all design and operating features
    of a pig trap station based on international codes and standards and Vendor Feedback
     Review of individual Pig trap station against the Standard Design Specification to arrive at
    modifications required

    like agitated reactor, pumps, chemical dosing system, usage of American Cyanamid Company Safety
    Standards, participation in HAZOP and closeout of the HAZOP action items.
