    •contract management work of the motorway construction project
    •supervision of the road works during execution in accordance with the approved Quality System Management
    •elaboration of the Monthly Progress Reports and Interim Payment Certificates
    •administrative procedures of contract management
    •correspondence with Employer & the Subcontractors regarding implementation of the Contract Specifications
    •document monitoring: In & Out letters/documents.
    •administering all contracting matters relating to the design and construction activities
    • ensuring that contracting matters are carried out in accordance with contracting policy and procedures and the Manual of Authorities
    • preparing progress valuations of the ongoing activities and validating contractors’ invoices

    Company: Romanian National Company for Motorways and National Roads

    Responsibilities:
    From May 2005 – June 2008, ISPA Funds Department: Implementation of Contracts based on FIDIC Conditions of Contract, RED BOOK 1999 financed by the European Commission through the ISPA facility. Contract Management for Rehabilitation of DN 6, Craiova – Drobeta Turnu Severin and Construction of Adunatii Copaceni By-Pass and Rehabilitation of the Existing Road in Adunatii Copaceni– Project Manager.
    Main tasks – Contract management,
    •Checking and approval of Interim Payments Certificates, •Checking and approval of Variation Orders
    •Site visits
    •Correspondence with Contractors and Subcontractors regarding implementation of the Contract Specifications, •document monitoring: In & Out letters/documents.
    •administering all contracting matters relating to the design and construction activities
    • ensuring that contracting matters are carried out in accordance with contracting policy and procedures and the Manual of Authorities

    • checks all work accounting documents, supervise final accounting and to obtain the signature of those responsible.
    • assists in the technical-administrative settling of claims presented by sub-contractors.
    Contract value aprox 110 MEUR.
    Other responsibilities: Procurement and biding.

    From 1st of February 2004 to 1st May 2005 – Investment Department – Contract Management for implementation of Contracts based on Romanian Law, Rehabilitation of DN 58, Caransebes – Anina and Rehabilitation of DN 41, Oltenita – Daia.
    Main tasks – Checking and approval of Payment Applications, Checking and approval of supplementary works all relevant correspondence.
    From 1st of September 2002 to 1st of February 2004 – Quality Department – Supervision of works during the execution process.
