7 to 10 Years |
Since March 2008 till present I start to work in an Embedded WinCE and MS Auto project. My role is to make the SW Architecture and design for connected devices applications like OPS (Optical Parking System), RVC (Rear View Camera), Climate and other devices. I implemented UDevices and Driver Services and as additional tasks I created small test applications in C++.
Starting with January 2007 I held the position of SW Architect on Connected Devices subproject. The main responsibilities were to analyze and review the customer requirements, to extend SW Architecture, and to create/review SW Design. I participated in workshops held in Munchen and Wolfsburg – Germany together with the customer to test some CAN devices. I developed a Servlet that interrogates and perform actions on HMI elements.
Since 2005 I changed to Entertainment subproject on the same OSGi platform. The tasks were to create the SW design and to implement business logic for DVD Video application. This application interacts with Java Media Fwk. JUnit was used to create unit tests for DVD Video application.
I organized an OSGi training for colleagues in Timisoara.
Starting with June 2003 I begin to work for a project based on a platform that follows OSGi specifications. My task was to implement business logic for applications that interact with CAN connected devices. I use the MOST architecture concept (MOST Shadows and Function Blocks).OS used is VxWorks. Testing was done using the CANoe tool with a real CAN network. Other small tasks were to implement the diagnosis for TMC and Tuner packages.
In June 2001 I was responsible to take over the HMI layer of a WinCE based project held in Regensburg - Germany. The HMI elements are defined as COM objects. The main tasks are to maintain and develop new HMI elements. Microsoft Windows CE Platform Builder 3.0 was used to create a new kernel with/without applications included. This image was copied on the real embedded platform using special tools. Rational ClearCase was used as a life cycle management of software development. SW development follows the Life Cycle concept and meets the SW Quality constraints.
