| Objective and Resume Summary: |
|
-Review and/or manage all calculations necessary to finalize the piping designs for all facilities including equipment, tanks, vessels, ponds, roadways, buildings, towers and pipe racks. -Responsible for pipe stress work and management of project Line Designation Tables (LTD) -Coordinates the piping 3D modelling work with Structural and Electrical disciplines. -Manage the preparation and maintenance of the project piping specifications. -Responsible for the development of the detailed engineering work packages (EWP) definition. -Responsible for the evaluation and award of the detailed engineering work packages. -Audit the accuracy of estimates of the piping design man-hours to complete a specific portion of the plant. -Prepare and manages an accurate schedule for executing the piping design work. -Participate in the vendor drawing review process for all equipment. -Participate in the development of the construction work packages (CWP). -Ensure all necessary piping design and drafting resources are in place to meet the budget and schedule requirements. -Take responsibility for the piping design and drafting group to produce quality work, minimize rework, and to create opportunities for continual learning and improvement. -Assist the project engineer in implementing the performance measurement program to benchmark, monitor and provide feedback for all piping and drafting activities. -Provide leadership and mentoring of piping personnel. |
