Performing newbuilding survey I faced real critical situations generated both by technical and/or by economical reasons.
It was a very good opportunity for me to observe the real technological processes involved in shipbuilding and to understand the vessel like a system.
Mainly surveying structure I improve my understanding of structural details and I start to appreciate the impact and the effect of construction imperfections.
I learned how to recognize a safety and feasible solution proposed to improve a situation or to repair a design or construction mistake.
