Responsible to : Ambassador and Counsellor

Responsible for :
Active contribution, incl. Through policy dialogues, to the development of the national strategic frame work of fisheries and rural roads under Agriculture sector including promotion of poverty orientation, cross cutting issues, sector reforms, harmonization and alignment and improved donor coordination..
Participate in LCG (local consultancy group) sub-group meetings related to the rural road and Agriculture sector, and other relevant meetings, for instance on bird flu,
Participate in identification and preparation of Agriculture Sector programme activities and assisting GoB partners in preparation of ASPS and timely and inputs decisions..
Draft ToR for identification , appraisal, feasibility and preparation missions as well as other consultancy missions, including local consultancies.
Review and scrutinize LGA proposals related to Agriculture sector and draft appropriation notes for LGA projects for approval by the head of Representation. .
Draft Government to Government Agreements as well as agreements with other partners and NGOs and facilitate finalization of these.
Ensure that Prgrammes/projects/components are registers in PDB (MFA central data base) and that all reports, documents and appropriation notes are uploaded..
Monitor projects related to agriculture sector.
Participate in proramme/component Steering committees meetings and follow up on the decision made.
Prepare budget and disbursement plan for the agriculture sector activities and undertaking monitoring and expenditure control in consultation with the financial controller in the Embassy.

Co-coordinated with Socio-Economists for Socio-Economic appraisal of all WR Schemes.
