A Management Graduate with experience in Apparel Merchandising. An excellent planner with proven abilities in accelerating growth, generating customer loyalty levels and serving institutions and corporate sector customers effectively. An Out-of-the-Box Thinker with a proven track record setting up procedural frameworks and creating a teamwork environment to enhance productivity. Presently working with Mahavir Int. Pvt. Ltd. As Sr. Merchant (Manager) since March. 2008 which is engaged in manufacturing of high quality fabric and garments for exports with majority of clientele being from Europe, USA & Canada etc.
Objective
Seeking assignments in Merchandising in a growth oriented Textile organization.
Company Profile:-
Mahavir is a recognized Export House which is engaged in manufacturing of high quality Woven & knitted fabric garments for exports.
Specialization: Deals in Men’s, ladies & Kids Wear garments.
Responsibilities Include
Coordination between Buying House and Various Teams Such As Sampling, Production, Quality and Export Documentation Etc. To Provide Ample Ambience To Execute Orders Smoothly Is The Goal Of Our Team. Some of the Identified Responsibilities Are As Follows – -
Order Execution:-
# Execution of order right from creation of order to shipment of order in planned with 98% OTP.
Receiving Tech Pack:-
# Ensure, as far as possible that all customer information is available to do a proper costing.
# Judge the production feasibility of the product, get technical input if needed.
# Check the availability to of production capacity with the planning department.
Fits & Pre Production Approvals:-
# Check all fit & pre production samples before sending them to the customer/buying houses.
# Ensure on time delivery of the right fit & pre production samples to Customer.
# Coordinate with Customer’s technical centre for approval.
# Pro activities follow up with the customer to get the approvals to ensure that all T&A’s are being
Met.
Maintain Records:-
Maintain complete & valuable records of all stages & all communication with the Customer/Buying
House. All information should be filed & kept in a public area.
Sourcing (Fabric & Trims):-
# Ensure the right information is received from to customer/buying house to ensure all sourcing is
Done correctly at once.
# Accumulate all fabric & trims needed per style.
# Discuss with sourcing {fabric & trims} the total requirement per style.
# Pro active keep following up with sourcing to ensure the right quality & quantity is delivered
According to the set T&A.
Fabric & Trims Delivery:-
# Active following up with sourcing {fabric & trims} to ensure on time delivery of all & the right
Fabric & trims & check the same on arrival of the goods of our customer & style.
Size Sets Approval:-
# Always ensures that the bulk fabric is used with the size sets.
# Discuss with the sampling requirement & T&A for the size-sets.
# Check the size sets before delivering to the customer.
# Coordinate with the buying technical center for approval.
Pilot Runs:-
# Coordinate the pilot runs with production.
# Coordinate the quality control with the buying houses on time.
Quality Audits:-
# Proactively follow-up with the QA to coordinate for the final inspection.
Vendor Management:-
#Selection of vendor based on performance.
#Co-ordination with vendor.
#Support and negotiation to fulfill target.
Supply chain Management:-
# keeping eye view on the distribution and receipt of goods from supplier on time and at the minimum
Transportation cost, since product require at right time in right quality at right place.
