Actively involved in all stages of merchandise, beginning from processing and canalizing an order till the shipment is sent.
Working in close co-ordination with the buyers for conceptualizing and then translating buyers needs in terms of style, aesthetics, quality and price points
Working as GOTS co-ordinator for factory inspection for own unit as well as vendor unit.
Active participation in Research and Development in sourcing and developing new fabrics prints, desk-looms, strike-offs and lab-dips for sampling and product development.
Working with sampling and production departments for getting the development and presentation samples, 1st fit samples, salesman/ catalogue or photo shoot samples, size-sets, sealer samples, pre-production samples, pilot samples etc. Made and delivered as per requirements.
Getting all fabric and trims including packaging material approved with a signed-off copy from the buyers end for the Purchase Order styles so as to prepare and organize the production files and sampling files accordingly.
Placing fabric orders and ordering all trims and required inputs, assuring their timely in-house dates, as to meet our shipment dates
Developing of production plan and organizing and controlling resources to meet targets
Maintain time and action plans for orders.
Managing product integrity and ensuring compliance with product standards by way of quality control in different stages of production and upon final stage.
To pursue and recover all monies due from buyers as a result of performance penalties.
Creating of range for the upcoming seasons for international clients.
Identifying new vendors and factories. Negotiating with factories on critical production details.
