    Facilities: Hotel complex 608 rooms and suites, 19 outlets
    Banquet facilities Banquet Facilities (7 Meeting rooms and Pillar less Grand ballroom
    Seating up to 700 pax for sit down dinner 1056 square meter)
    Outdoor Facilities Open Big Amphitheatre Seating up to 1000 pax ,
    Main Beach seating up to 300 pax,
    Turtle Beach seating up to 100 pax,Dhow Area seating up to
    150 pax , and Mini Amphitheatre seating up to 150 pax

    Reporting to: Banquet Manager
    Responsibilities:

    „X Assist in receiving of food and beverage equipments as well as sorting out its distribution and allocation
    „X Assist in setting up of banquet storage system
    „X Preparation and setting up for Pre-opening Department
    „X To ensure cleanliness of the back areas, storage areas
    „X Involved in setting up of the entire cashiering system Infrasys 2005 ,and training of the cashiering
    „X Conduct training of check Eam (moreton Bay) system
    „X Involved in Soft opening of the Resort
    „X Involved in Grand opening of the Resort
    „X Involved in large operations planning and executions
    „X Attended in technical meetings with organizers to discuss the requirements of the events when the opportunities were given and in absence of banquet manager and assistant managers
    „X To attend daily BEO coordination meeting and 10 days forecast rundown with respective department in absence of Mangers
    „X Assist Banquet manager in day to day operations and training matters
    „X To ensure Weddings ,Exhibitions ,Conferences , Launches, Gala dinner ,cocktail reception set ups are according to the Banquet Event Order, run smoothly and follow timing
    „X Conducting OE(operational equipment )inventory quarterly
    „X To ensure the internal customers such as contractors are follow house rules
    „X To ensure all food and beverage are served in accordance with food safety policy of the company and Haccp
    „x Assist the Banquet Manager in cost saving ,food control and general expenditure
    „X Assist Banquet Manager controlling of Foods and General items, I e.. Ordering , par stock ,wastages
    „X Assist Banquet manager in service briefing and to draw out Floor Plan
    „X To ensure Banquet standards are no compromise, always high and creative
    „X To have good communication with AV engineering ,Kitchen, Event Department
    „X Taking responsibility of controlling the department expenses
    „X Maximising the guest satisfaction by going extra miles
    „X Conducted the training for Non- negotiable for meetings and conferences
    „X Assist Banquet manager in administration works such as encoding staff time-in , time-out in OASYS system¡KVacation planning¡K.Etc
    „X Effective labour control
    „X To make Post- Mortem report at the end of the functions

    „X To help the Event team during site inspections
    „X To post the check according to the BEO and amendments

    Responsibilities as Room service captain:

    ƒ¬ Responsible of a team of 8
    ƒ¬ To schedule the outlet
    ƒ¬ To ensure the orders are delivered on time
    ƒ¬ To ensure the bills are being posted to respective room

    ƒ¬ To handle the early breakfast for the restaurant for early check-out
    ƒ¬ Send supporting staffs when banquet is in high volume of the business
    ƒ¬ To attend the training programme when needed
    ƒ¬ To conduct training to lower level


    Responsibilities as restaurant waiter

    ƒ¬ To be attentive to the needs of all guests ,providing them with the punctual enthusiastic service
    ƒ¬ To provide courteous, friendly and efficient service
    ƒ¬ To anticipate the guest needs before request
    ƒ¬ To present the menus and explain to the guest all menu items and special of the day as well
    ƒ¬ To report any complain ,compliment and accident of the guest to superior immediately
    ƒ¬ To finish all side duties

    Responsibilities as banquet waiter

    ƒ¬ To take care the organizer and all the guest needs according to the instructions given
    ƒ¬ To ensure coffee breaks are serve on time
    ƒ¬ To ensure requirements of meetings and conferences are provided in accordance with the BEO
    ƒ¬ To inform to superior if there is any lost and found item
    ƒ¬ To maintain banquet standards are always high and no compromise
    ƒ¬ To pass complains and compliments of the guests to superior
    ƒ¬ To set up weddings, meetings and conferences according to the BEO and the instructions given
