Job Responsibilities
• Working as Control Room Operator in power side
• During duty period operating & maintaining parameters of Gas Turbine, HRSG’S, STG & Balance of Plant (BOP) through DCS
• Handling plant independently during startup, shutdown & in any emergency
• In conjunction with Shift Engineer ensuring the safe, reliable, environmentally and commercially efficient operation of the plant
• During duty periods manage Work Permit / LOTO System to ensure safety from the system during all work performed in the Plant
• Maintaining Daily Log & Control Room Check List
Working in Sohar Power Company as Control Room Operator having Power Generating capacity of 640 MW with MSF’S four unit of capacity 33MIGD having following equipments.
• 3 x 140 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine NG/Fuel Oil Fired Siemens V94.2.
• 3 x Dual Pressure HRSG of Horizontal natural circulation with Duct Burner as
Supplementary firing system make Doosan, each Capacity.
310 TPH 89 kg/cm2 543°C HP Steam (with Duct Burner).
70 TPH 2.5 kg/cm2 240°C LP Steam (with Duct Burner).
• 1 x 220 MW Extraction cum Condensing Steam Turbine make Alstom with P320 Tgc – S V2 Control System.
• 4 x 8.5 MIGD Cross Tube Multi-stage flash (MSF) Evaporator make Doosan.
• 5.5 MW Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) for plant Blackout make Caterpillar.
• Teleperm – Xp As 620 Siemens DCS System.
