| I have got a lot of experience in Linux & Unix system administration, especially in the Open Source Technologies. In recent years, I had been involved in the Network Security field, mainly to support the Linux firewalls & proxy servers, as well as some Cisco products. I am currently working for a well-known multinational telecommunication company, providing technical assistance to various customers from different countries. In the near future, I am looking forward to gaining some international experiences in the similar field, to see & learn in a working culture from different society. Responsibilities/
Achievements:
It`s a provision of support services related to firewall and proxy servers across the world in a very large networked enterprise environment.
My responsibilities include but not limited to:
* To provide 3rd level reactive technical support in the areas of Firewall servers in a timely and efficient manner according to agreed SLA, standards & procedures. This requires advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills on relevant technologies and products in a very large-scale networked enterprise environment.
* Process & implement firewall & proxy servers RFC (Request for Change) according to ITIL change management standard.
* Action on all assigned incidents and carries out routine monitoring, logging and reporting tasks. Reports on any unforeseen or security event.
* Operate effectively without direct supervision but within a clear accountability framework to ensure that assigned activities are managed within agreed service levels.
* Knowledge Management solution builder �C providing draft solutions where gaps in the knowledge are identified reactively in addition to suggesting pro-active solutions where technical changes are being made, taking into account the business needs of the customers.

Achievements:
It`s an operation lead role, whereby giving training & guidance to a team of support engineers.
My responsibilities includes:
* Plan out detailed troubleshooting steps & processes based on various possible aspect of issues, while not giving too much complexity to support engineers during incidents handling.
* Knowledge builder, work with other support groups on Problem management as well as root cause analysis, to record common issues & known errors. Making future similar Incident management process easier & more efficient.
* Work closely with Service Desk Infrastructure Manager, to discuss & propose service desk tools upgrade, & research into new technologies to improve overall operation performance.
* System administration for ITIL based helpdesk call logging system (InfraEnterprise), Worked closely with development team in Australia to perform code deployment upgrade, DB server administration & maintenance, as well as storage backup. Provide SQL scripting based on various reporting requirements to the management.
* Network upgrade & lease line migration for the service desk environment, as well as setup & configuration for the network equipments.
* Save cost on licensing fees by using Open Source application on certain functions, e.g. DNS servers, Firewalls, Mail servers & FTP servers. These are mostly hosted in Linux environment.
* Support for Global Mail Hosting project, which running on Lotus Domino server, with Lotus Note clients.
