Objective:
To obtain employment in the Communication / IT field with an emphasis on Communications set up and delivery, or as an electrical engineer
Statement On Position Of Employment:
As an Communication / IT Supervisor and electrical engineer I provide different kind of Communication / IT and electrical services. This encompasses: Telephone systems, Alarm and Video Surveillance electronic security systems, Fiber optic networks, Communication / IT networks, radio communications, microwave systems, Satellite Cable TV systems, NDB Markers – Aircraft landing and navigation systems and other Communication / IT and electrical equipment.
Telephone systems: include satellite links via “SSE” and new “Codan” transceivers and “Comstream” digital modems, SSC and new Nuera 200ip multiplexers, Mitel SX-2000 and SX-200 and Panasonic telephone switches, microwave radio via line of sight shoot configurations. My job requires me to have a working knowledge of the installation , maintenance and troubleshooting of all devices materials and equipment I work with, as well as complete programming of transceivers, modems, multiplexers and telephone switches, such as programming routes, class of service, class of restriction, trunk lines, hunt groups etc. I also do telephone lines, cables, different of telephone blocks, connectors and plugs. I work with other associated satellite and communication equipment in order to provide voice and data links worldwide.
Alarm and Video Surveillance electronic security systems: include Pelco and other pan/tilt/zoom and thermal cameras, associated audio/video equipment, servers, multiplexers, switches, keyboards, cables and network, as well as fiber optic network with cables, transmitters, receivers, connectors etc, different kind of alarm devices, Maas alarm system, Distress alarms, links, sensors, computers, Communication /IT network, hardware and software; all connected in the one unique system. I did these from the beginning of specification and planning, thru installation, and maintenance. These systems work perfect for years already even the security demands are the highest.
Radio Communications: I work extensively with program, setup, maintenance and repair UHF, VHF and crossband repeaters, “kickers” and radios. We installed fifteen different repeaters on communication sites, hundreds of mobile radios vehicle installation, base station installations and hand held radios, to include installation of cables, antennas and claim the communication towers. Our radio repeater network cower the biggest part of whole Bosnia and Herzegovina and that requires me to have a working knowledge of radio waves coverage, antenna gains, radio devices, cables and connectors characteristics. Also, I repair electronic components of radio and communication devices.
Satellite cable TV systems: We installed five Satellite cable TV systems at different sites. With satellite dish and LNB signal is picked up from satellite and through receivers, modules, TV base stations, amplifiers, splitters, connectors and plugs sent to the users. Signal must be modulated and manipulated so every user can have a good quality picture, and that require correct db gain, frequency and modulation of signal for each TV channel.
NDB Markers – Aircraft landing and navigation systems:
We installed and maintained three NDB Markers – Aircraft landing and navigation systems. The NDB Markers are special transmitters with automatic antenna tuning kit with a specific kind of antenna. They transmit a Morse code signal on a specified frequency. To work with it requires me to have a knowledge to calculate characteristics (inductance, capacity etc.) of antennas and electronic circuits, Morse cod, installation of specific devices and antennas.
Other communication equipment:
I also work with Cellular phones – GSM network equipment, Fax machines, printers, transformers and other communication, network, electrical and electronically equipment.
