Responsible for installation, integration and testing of hardware/software components for the Marine Security Operations Centres (MSOC).
Currently conducting feasibility testing with Thin Client technology (utilizing VMWare ESX Server and VMWare View) in preparation for a national network with nodes in Ottawa, Halifax and Esquimalt.

Naval Communicator
Responsible for maintaining communications between Canadian Warships and various shore based facilities through a multitude of mediums, as well as administration of various DND computer networks.
While a member of the ship support IT section, Identified, and arranged a co-operative training opportunity for support personnel from the ship support section to work with the shore based support section. This helped to foster a better understanding of each teams role in the support system, ranging from desktop support, network connectivity and various aspects of local and remote management utilities.
Solved training equipment shortcomings by devising and implementing a 4 server, 5 workstation, 200 user, virtual network environment which led to attaining multiple IT certifications.
Perceived the benefits of utilizing sysprep and powerquest drive image software when upgrading approximately 400 workstations to Windows 2000 professional. This allowed each workstation to be completed in 25% of the time when compared to regular installations.
