| I have been interested in IT since I owned my first computer and that has led me to pursue my studies in the following field. I was quite aware of the hardware section due to the fact that I was repairing my own computer whenever it had a breakdown. I worked for myself for quite some time before I got a trainee job at The United Basalt Products Ltd. I was the computer technician and was responsible to repairs the computers that broke down. After 6 months, despite being offered a contract, I went to Fantasmedia Company Ltd to work as an Animation Moderator where I was in charge of data input on a website for a French client. Two months after that, I had an opportunity to work for my godfather at his company; Pipe Line Marketing Ltd, as an IT Technician. I was in charge with another colleague to look after all the computers from our different shops on the island. I`m looking for a new job because I feel that despite I like the challengers my godfather is giving me; that is looking after his restaurant, his shops and so on, I`m not being paid for that amount of work that I`m doing. I know that the company is in a bad state at the moment but I`m thinking about my future. I want a decent a salary so that I would be able to support my family. I feel that I have quite some experience in the IT field, having worked in it for the last 3-4 years. I believe that I have matured, become more responsible and working a little more doesn`t bother me as long as I am being paid decently. I am also interested in Web Design, though I don`t have much knowledge about it, I would like to learn and maybe make it my new job. |
