Some of my major carrier accomplishments are:
1)I was solely responsible for introducing the first medication infusion pump (Cormed Pump) ever used at Maine Medical Center which allowed, for the first time, the slow constant infusion of any medication from narcotics to therapeutic medications to be controlled and infused at a constant rate 24/7.
2)The creation of first Nurse Practitioner Owned and Operated Family Health Center in the State of Maine.
3)I recently completed a 3 year project in my office, introducing and fully convertion the office to an electronic medical record. This is a state of the art system which has eliminated 99% of paper used in the office.
4)I served on the committee that was instrumental in getting 5 new Nurse Practitioner laws passed in the State of Maine which made Nurse Practitioners independent and named as primary care providers.
I am highly skilled in medical therapeutics and have excellent technical skills and good patient bedside manner.
I practice independently, I require no supervising physician.
