Program Management
- Capacity building of the local organization and farmer groups,
- Coordinate the production of program outputs by assuming overall responsibility for the management and co-ordination of program activities for all projects within this program;
- Manage all program staff, including recruitment, development of work schedules, training plans and appraisals;
- Oversee the quality and timely production of the program work plans, and regular progress and financial reports as required;
- Work collaboratively with staff, interns, village education committees and participants and other stakeholders to achieve program outputs.
- Develop capacity building mechanisms and implement training for village committees and stakeholders, with the objective of sustainable transfer of project to community.
- Develop a participatory monitoring and evaluation plan including implementation of a baseline survey and strong results driven indicators and means for measurement and monitoring achievements,
Finance Management
- Monitor expenditure and ensure adherence to budget and donor guidelines in consultation with finance department;
- Supervise the provision of support services to the program; namely finance/admin, human resources, procurement and logistics, etc;
