| Objective and Resume Summary: |
|
Perform HSE induction for the new incoming personnel and visitors to the rig site.
Perform trainings on safety matters and basic safety program for rig personnel.
Assure the role of HSE coordinator for the logistic base.
Collect all HSE reporting materials, including end of months HSE results, performance reports, and trends. Record and follow up of the all HSE data and statistics
Assure the role of rescue and first aid teams’ leader, and supervise all rig drill and emergency exercises.
Coordinate HSE forums, external audits and accidents and/or incidents investigations.
Prepare event reports on accidents, incidents, and near misses. Classify, analyze and perform lesson learned sheet.
Participate in the revision of all risk assessments and job safety analysis
Participate in all HSE forms revisions (permit to work, weekly health inspections of camp site, offices, rig zone, laboratory… etc), cars and heavy trucks inspections…etc
Conduct daily, weekly and follow up safety meetings with rig crew, supervisors and subcontractors.
Assure video training for all the personnel on safety matters such as (Rigging and lifting operation, confined space jobs, hand injuries, PPE, dropped objects , first aid, fire fighting, defensive driving...etc).
Advise Rig manager on daily basis in HSE related maters in concordance with daily operations.
Perform monthly rig inspection, pre spud rig inspection, mobile equipment monthly inspection (cranes, forklifts, cars…)
Following up the implementation of new procedures.
Has good knowledge/experience of preparing project HSE plans, design philosophies and criteria.
Preparation of tenders, scope of works and evaluation of contracts.
Has good knowledge/experience in HAZID, HAZOP, risk assessment, SIL, safety process reviews.
Has good knowledge/experience in drilling operations safety requirements.
Conversant with safety management systems preparation and implementation.
Has good knowledge/experience in passive/active fire fighting procedures.
Has good knowledge of international safety standards and good practices.
Has good knowledge of emergency plan response preparation and implementation.
Act as liaison between HSE Manager and Field Superintendent.
Advise supervisors in implementing the Safety policy of the Company.
Keep appraised of Government Laws, regulations, orders applicable to fire and safety matters and advice supervisors of their responsibilities.
Promote interest and active participation by supervisors, employees and contractors in accident and fire prevention activities.
Ensure that fire protection and safety maintenance plans are executed efficiently.
Submit reports, as required, to immediate supervisor.
Supervise, train and develop employees under supervision.
