I am working for Off Plot Delivery Contract (odc) for PDO as a Pipe Line Painting Inspector.
Primary Objectives:
- verify and ensure that processes at all stages are carried out as per purchase order requirements and in accordance with the contract specification, contract quality plan, QA/QC Procedures ,QC plan and work instructions and maintain records.
Responsibilities & Authorities:
-Review purchase orders assigned by the QA Engineer
-Comply and implement quality system requirements
-Ensure fulfillment of all inspection and test requirements at all stages as per Quality Control plan and contract requirements and maintain pertinent records.
-Be Familiar with and refer to the applicable ERDs, Specifications and standards
-Ensure that copies of applicable QC Plans are available at the locations of work.
-Issue NCR when non conformance observed during inspection/verification.
-Liaise with the Project Manager for the corrective against non conformances.
-Verify Calibration status of measuring &Monitoring devices used.
-Monitor Subcontractors performance for compliance with quality requirements, where ever applicable.
-Coordinate with project coordinator for compiling the test pack for purchase order.
- Identify areas of improvement.
- Ensure implementation of the applicable QA/QC Procedures, QC Plans and work instructions, which include activities, related blasting and coating applications.
-Ensure that weather conditions are suitable for blasting and paint application.
- Witness applicator qualification or trade test and paint system /Shrink sleeve qualification
