CS - NSS Planning and Optimization Consultant and Quality Verification & Improvement in Core Network in Telenor are listed below:
Responsible for end to end Core Network optimization, troubleshooting the day to day problems, network performance monitoring, KPI (Key Performance Indicator) and NQPI (Network Quality Performance Indicator).
Signaling link analysis and optimization, CGR utilization analysis and optimization, Clear Code analysis, verification of quality parameters and network performance Optimization.
Optimal Utilization of network resources and Core Network Dimensioning
Performance and Optimization of 3G & 2G CS Core Network and all C7, SIGTRAN and SIP signaling.
Ensure the capacity of the network elements is properly engineered to cater for growing traffic and coordinate with all NSS performance related activities with NOC and with the vendors.

Analyze any degradation for KPI, Signaling link, CGR utilization and Clear Code analysis investigating / troubleshooting the cause of the degradation and give solutions.
Identifying low KPIs using different failure counters via NETACT tool and pinpoints the issue on different interfaces.
Summarizing the Core Network counters for selected KPI in hourly, daily & weekly and monthly basis report generation of network volume in terms of KPIs
Existing KPI monitoring and analysis - provide explanations for the KPI trends and investigate performance issues to determine the source of a trend variation and predict whether it will continue and improving the KPI / QOS through corrective and preventive measures against low KPIs.
High knowledge in CS Core technologies, protocols such as Rel 99, Release 4, Iu-over-ATM/IP, SIGTRAN, legacy/NG IP technologies/protocols such as Soft switch, multi-layer switching, IP addressing, etc.

Proactively interfacing and working closely with customer and implementation team during planning and integration process, give support in troubleshooting to integration team during deployment when required, and cooperate with project team or independent work depends on the project type
Advise design solutions to network planning team based upon periodic traffic reports.
Prepare network design architecture (signaling / traffic) for network deployment and re-deployment to support the projected subscriber base considering.
High knowledge of internal nodes traces, stats, PDC, logs, alarms, CE tester results in addition to KPIs.
