Features of the project bridge: Supervision of 708m long, having superstructure of PSC box girder in main stream and PSC I girder in approach on pile foundation. The project scope also includes construction of a 2-lane standard carriageway approach roads on both ends (Total length 2.64 km) with necessary road appurtenants.

Duties and tasks performed:
• Bridge & Road construction supervision activities , approve construction materials, workmanship and quality control activities including quality assurance plan (QAP).
• Responsible for supervision , contract administration and management and quality control.
• Explain and /or adjust ambiguities and/or discrepancies in the Contract Document and to provide assistance to the Client (RHD) in the settlement of disputes with the Contractors.
• Reviewing , verifying and further detail the design of the contract works to approve the Contracts “working drawings if necessary , to issue further drawings and or to give instructions to the Contractors for any works which may not sufficiently detailed in the contract document.
• Approving and rejecting data for setting out of work
• Approving the Contractors’ superintendence key personnel , construction programmes , land to be occupied by the Contractors, materials and sources of materials.
• Ordering special tests of materials or completed works and/or removal and substitution of improper materils and/or work as required.
• Controlling and appraising the progress of the works , to order suspension of works and to authorize, with the Clients’ approval , extensions of the period for completion of the works.
• Issuing variation orders, to evaluate variations , to fix rates for unpriced work , to order day work after obtaining prior approval of the Client, and/or to make recommendation to the Client regarding alternatives.
