| The Government of Nunavut is the territorial government in Canada's newest territory formed in 1999. Nunavut is located in Canada's Arctic region and is an Inuit settlement area encompassing approximately 1/3 of Canada's northern land mass. The Government of Nunavut employs approximately 3700 people in 11 Departments spanning the entire territory. Many communities are in remote fly-in locations.
