Our Methodology and Course Materials
Given the bland inflexibility textbooks, we decided to create our own teaching methods and teaching materials. We ensure that from day one you learn modern, relevant language that can be taken from the classroom and used in daily life.

When you come for your free trial lesson, we will show you just how quickly you can learn Mandarin words when using our Link Word method.
Teaching materials for absolute beginners through to intermediate students - We teach functional Mandarin for daily life through entertaining stories we have designed over years of teaching. These quickly equip students with the vocabulary, grammar and correct pronunciation to deal with the situations they face in Beijing every day. Even if you never studied a word of Chinese before, you will be out on the street haggling with locals in no time.
Teaching materials for intermediate and advanced students - here we perfect your Mandarin in a range of circumstances that require specialized vocabulary and grammar. Lessons are based around extensive audio-visual resources, from magazines through to various TV programmes, which expose you to Mandarin as spoken at a native level. We develop courses tailored to your individual language needs, such as e.g. classical Chinese, business, literature, newspaper, law, etc. and our teachers spend their non-teaching hours creating suitable material for your classes. Self-selected materials can also be adopted for appropriate level students.
