We are an international art book publisher. We are currently looking to appoint an International Vendor to work within our Marketing department, based in Saigon, Vietnam or London England. You will work in order to maximise sales, visiting customers all over the world and find new ones. In addition, you will be responsible for general administration within the department including dealing with post and email, implementing and monitoring marketing plans, providing support to other members of the department and organising and attending exhibitions.
The successful candidate will be a creative, outgoing, and resourceful self-starter who enjoys intellectual challenge. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the International Vendor will join our existing marketing team and play a pivotal role in achieving company goals by:
• Ensuring growth in revenue, market position, and company reputation in assigned markets through effective implementation of marketing plans, including dealing with post and email, implementing and monitoring marketing plans, providing support to other members of the department and organizing and attending exhibitions.
• Creating, executing, and analyzing integrated marketing and selling plans for assigned lists and markets that include visits to existing customers, finding new ones, online promotion and all other marketing activities
• Collaborating with Marketing and Sales staff to determine and prioritize strategies that maximize resources and opportunities, generate sales and quality leads and build awareness for the publishing house.
• Ensuring the articulation and consistent communication of company s exceptional image and position
• Developing and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned markets; attend meetings to enhance relationships, stay abreast of opportunities and build knowledge
• Conducting regular and relevant market research to develop strategies for penetrating assigned markets
• Maintaining and applying knowledge of all products including forthcoming, newly published, and backlist titles
This position requires Bachelor of Arts degree and 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in a publishing or educational environment, demonstrated proficiency in applying best practices in marketing communication and marketing management; excellent critical-thinking, organizational, and process-building skills; excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; ability to think creatively and conceptually as well as analytically; must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
