The position is responsible for developing new and enhancing existing Xignite services. He/she will be part of a team that creates the most comprehensive set of financial web services that serve clients from small startup companies to big corporations. The successful candidate should process good programming skills (in VB.Net and/or C#) and be a good learner of new technologies. He/she must have excellent verbal and communication skills in English, and must be able to work both independently and in small team environment. A successful candidate should also have strong ability to help resolve customer programming related problems as they arise. |
| Capacités Requises: |
1. Good understanding of concepts and terminologies in computer science in English (or there will be no way for the US and China teams to communicate effectively)
2. Knows how to program in VB.Net and/or C# (may need to understand both eventually);
3. MUST need to know how to write console applications;
4. Knowledge in writing window service, window applications, and web services is a plus.
5. Knowledge of other programming languages is also a plus when it comes to helping clients solving their programming problems.
6. Able to quickly understand code other engineers write in VB.Net and/or C#;
7. Able to learn new knowledge as required independently (or with minimal help);
8. Experience working with any professional debugging and testing tools is preferred.
9. Experience in web scraping is a plus, as well as knowledge of other parsing tools.
10. Fluent in English speaking and writing as the candidate needs to communicate clearly his ideas with the US team; experience with technical document writing (such as design document) would be a plus.
