| Description: |
- Participate in feasibility studies to define the SW architecture for new embedded gateways and services: customer requirement analysis, translation of high-level specifications into a detailed SW design strategy, provide input for SW development plans. You perform in a team of SW engineers, interacting with project managers and technical customer contacts.
- SW Development for next generation gateway platforms by steering the definition, design and implementation of embedded application SW in C/C++ using advanced tools and real-time operating systems (embedded Linux, RTEMS).
- Through a focus on the finished article and adjusted structures, an optimal development environment is created for consumer products. The development is done in a project-oriented matrix organisation, which is dynamically adapted to the high-speed market and product development needs.
- Short international business trips possible

| Capacités Requises: |
- Master Computer Science/ Electronics/ Informatics or Engineer IT/ Electronics
- Relevant experience in embedded SW development for at least 3 years
- Dutch, Fluent English is mandatory.
- Programming languages: C/C++
- Operating systems: Linux, RTEMS
- Development environment: Linux/Unix, ClearCase, zsh, bash, …
- Software concepts: multi-threading, network programming, client-server applications
- Toolchain: GNU (gcc, gdb), Lauterbach/JTAG
- Networking: knowledge of data communication concepts and stacks
- VOIP development: SIP, MGCP, H323, VOIP DSP drivers
- Cell phone networks: 3G, GPRS, UMTS, RANAP, SS7, SCCP
