Plans ,directs, adminsters and supervises activities with the nursing and related to adminstrative and patient care departments to ensure the activities and programs are consistent with RHH philosophy and objectives.Consultas in patient care matters throughout the organisation.Reports to and advises the CEO on the matters related to the operation of the patient care division. Applies current and theoretical approaches to the delivery of nursing care
• Resposible for directing, planning,managing and coordinationg operations for patient care activities.Translate overall hospital goals and objectives into departmental goals and objectives
• Responsible for maintaining a working environemnt that promotes high standard for patient care, customer service, and ethical behaviour
• Participates regularly with the members of medical staff, Adminstrative team and employees in decision making related to patient care
• Provides leadership for organisational performance improvement activities
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
• Reviews facility fees and evaluate cost of procedures and recommed fiscal responsible allocation of capital and operating funds are maintained.
• Prepares, reviews and manages department budgets to ensure fiscally responsible for allocation of capital and operating funds maintained
• Guides and directs managers, senior nurses, clinical nurses and other staff members in subject to matters including but not limited to problem solving,goal setting and develops strategies for implementation and evaluates results of program and projects
• Prepares and analyzes setting forth adverse trends and makes appropriate recommendations and/or conclusions on subjects relating to nursing department
• Ensures the evaluation of appropriate equipment needs , to establised for the patiet care areas and participates in purchase committee meeting.
• Plans for the provisions of orientation , inservice and continuing education programs.Combines efforts with recruitment and retention activites to assure adequete numbers of competent staff to meet the needs of patient populations served
• Actively participates in community and professional organization as a representative of organisation
• Utilizes role modeling, mentoring , counseling, coaching , formal and informal education to promote an environment of competence, professionalism, customer services and ethical behaviour
• Participates in accessiong, planning, implementing and evaluating all patient care needs
• Engages in frequent patient rounds to evaluate care and promotes customer satisfaction
• Initiatives continous quality improvement programs for population served

| Capacités Requises: |
Graduate from an accedited school of nursing, masters in nursing or nursing adminstration or business related degree prefered, certicaficate programs from accredited assiocations, Active RN License
Minimum of 5 -7years experience in hospital related experience, including a minimum of 5 years in acute hospital nursing with postions increasing responsibility to establish credibility to interface with a multitude of professional and non-professional disciplines.
