A well established Emergency lighting manufacturing company based at Hersham Surrey area is now looking for a talented Electronics Design Engineer to add to its expanding their R&D development team. The company has established an enviable reputation across the globe for its high quality and reliable product range.
Working as part of a dedicated project team, you will be responsible for analogue and digital circuit design, with associated hardware, from concept to finished product. You will also be responsible for testing and proving designs, to product specifications and industry standards. You will be working with embedded and PC-based software interfaces and additional skills in these areas will be an advantage.
With a degree in an Electronic discipline you will have at least 2 years experience in a relevant position. You must have a background in a fast moving product environment and should also be familiar with designing for printed circuit board, using orthogonal computer added design or similar schematic packages and powerful knowledge of power electronics. You will be confident using Outlook, Excel, Word and the Internet.

Skills:
- Experience as Test/Development Engineer within an Electronics / Software environment
- Managed the testing activities of at least 2 development projects throughout the full development lifecycle
- Exposure to Test Automation
- Embedded software design skills (C or C++)
- Circuit design (Analogue, digital, micro-controller interfacing
- Power electronics (uninterrupted power supplies)
- experience of analogue, digital and board level design
- The ability to design at circuit/board level and getting the finished design into manufacture.
Responsibilities:
- Design of analog and digital assemblies according to EMV standards
- Provide technical support on existing products to customers and suppliers
- Ensure that company procedures and followed and strictly adhered to
Experience in design of circuits microcontroller with analog front and back end
- Develop and implement cost reduction opportunities
- Responsible for New Product Implementation from generating specifications until ok to ship in collaboration with Marketing, Sourcing, Production and Quality
- Approach problems systematically and with a high level of professionalism
