Job Description: PM/CM Project’s Financial and Cost Control.
Requirments: • Degree in appropriate discipline.
• Minimum 15 years experience, preferably with some time spent in the Middle East.
Key Duties: • Establish Cost Control(s), Financial Control Procedures and related manuals for project team use.
• Provide project budget and subsequent cost estimates/plan, monitor and adjust and update the cost plan accordingly.
• Advise and make recommendations on all design changes which impact on the project budget.
• Prepare Project(s) Cost and Cash Flow Reports.
• Prepare when necessary Change Orders and cost effects of such orders on the construction budget.
• Provide value Engineering review/study.
• Advice on Project cost control effectiveness and compliance with budgetary targets.
• Trouble shooting: Visit Projects and sort out issues related to Cost Control.
• Participate in cost review meetings with project’s team members to discuss the following:
• Review and analysis the monthly project cost report
• Decide with the PM/CM(s) on corrective actions required to counter overrun trends.
• Review with the PM/CM potential changes and measures taken, where possible, to reduce any future extras, or to achieve savings.
• Cost analysis review and identification
