Regional Sales Manager/Detection Instruments
Regional Sales Manager-International - Caspian Sea / Turkey
The RSM is typically based in territory and will operate 15-20 days a month on the road with our distribution networks and end users in the region focusing on developing our business in the industrial market sectors (oil & gas, pharmaceutical, chemical, heavy industries, marine market, utilities, construction, mining etc). The RSM-I will be responsible for:
* The Territory budget including:
o Sales forecast and meeting the sales forecast
o Expense budget and staying within expense budget
* Managing, maintaining and optimizing the sales channel in the territory including:
o Identify and select sales channel
o Development and training of the sales channel
o Day-to-day support of the sales channel
o Evaluate and monitor sales channel performance
o Make necessary sales channel changes
* Develop new and existing business opportunities in the region through:
o End user calls with and without sales channel
o Participation in local and regional tradeshows
o Presentations at local and regional workshops and symposiums
o Developing direct and e-marketing plans with RAE EU Marketing
o Maintaining and updating the company’s CRM Systems
* Report market opportunities, changes and needs including:
o New technology
o Changes within competition behavior and product portfolio
Skills & Qualifications
The right candidate for the position as "RSM-I Eastern Europe/Russia " has drive, self motivation and endurance above average. We are looking for following skills & qualifications:
* BA in Marketing or Engineering (instrumentation, chemistry, occupational hygiene) or equivalent work experience
* 3-5 years of technical sales experience – plusses would be:
o International experience
o Experience in managing international distribution networks
o Knowledge about fixed and / or portable gas detection
* Excellence in communication with ability to influence decision makers
o Must be fluent in English
o Must be fluent in Russian
* Must be able to work in a team environment with a Commitment to Excellence.
