Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented and creative Senior .Net Web Developer to join the Sales Channels web development team at RadioShack Corp. You should bring to us experience in the full development lifecycle of n-tier Microsoft applications. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in maintaining and evolving RadioShack Sales Channel web applications. Works with business owners to gather requirements and communicate progress throughout the software development lifecycle. Writes and maintains software documentation. Work with business managers and software developers to meet the organization’s goals. Leads and mentors other developers within the team. Must be able to articulate the concepts of object-oriented development, as well as detail how those concepts are implemented within C#.NET or VB.NET. The Developer will also act as mentor to junior developers as they become familiar with .Net and its concepts. It must be stressed that the need for excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a customer focused orientation is key.

| Capacités Requises: |
Skills and Education
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies with one of the following: database servers: SQL Server, Oracle, DB2
• Minimum 3 year experience developing ASP.NET web applications
• Minimum 3 years of database design and object oriented design
• 3+ years SQL 2000 (administration & stored procedure scripting)
• 2+ years web services, windows services and XML development
• 2+ years Java/JSP development
• Experience developing Web Services
• Demonstrated experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Well-developed problem solving, project management, and documentation skills
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical managers and staff
• A strong ability to teach/ lead junior programmers and designers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to plan schedules and meet deadlines, and work well in a team environment.
• The successful candidate for the position of .net Developer will have a mix of both strong technical expertise and inter-personal skills. |
