This leading Organisation is seeking a Security Manager for a permanent role based in Qatar. The role is to start after February 2008.
The Security Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the Security department. You shall establish and implement efficient operations for: (1) Fire training and monitoring; (2) Security and (3) other support services as determined by the Director of Facilities and Support Services.
The Security Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining and managing all programs to ensure that personnel, facilities and information is sufficiently protected. The core areas of responsibility for this section include:
In this role you will prepare and implement policies and procedures to support the efficient operations of the department, conducts internal audits on in-house and contract security to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and relevant standards
Other duties include dealing with contractors, Recruitment, training and development of security personnel. You will develop and implement fire and security programs and initiatives which are based on the Organisation’s Fire and Security Policy.
You will serve as a focal point for dealing with the Hospital, Visitors, Sports City, Police,
Emergency Services and other parties on Emergency Preparedness and Security
matters. You will also oversee the processing of security administrative issues (e, g.
Standards of Practice, Security passes, VIP visitors etc).
To apply for the role you will have 4+ years of experience in the Security and Fire Prevention industry with strong experience in training of staff.
In return you will receive a TAX FREE salary between $45k USD - $60K USD TAX FREE.
