Preparation
Drafting of the annual Process File Mode / Effects Analysis (P-FMEA) and Control-plan.
In the P-FMEA process, the risks are described.
On the basis of the annual P-FMEA and Control Plan analyze how the production process to the production could be improved in this future-oriented advice.
Implementation
In acute disturbance in the production process on the basis of, among other oral presentation by Trouble-shooters and on the basis of analyzing drawings / determine the cause of this.
After analysis, a report is prepared and consultation with the Production Engineering Manager or it will be independently decided on the best coping direction. This can consist of:
- On the basis of drawings that hangs on the machines, for example, assessing tolerances/diameter, then through the memory card the programme of the CNC-machine is called and adjust the coordinates.
- Solving process disturbances to the CNC machine through processing steps PLC’s (input, output, X and Y)
- Adapting tools, clamping jaw and parts of the production machines using the chipping machines
- Finding an external supplier for example for closer/new tools or other lubricants
- Invocation of external expertise, such as mechanics of the (production) machines
- Support for the purchase and design of new machinery and production lines
- Creating work and report to Production, Maintenance and executive through the Maintenance Management System
Other activities
After the closure of the line for example in connection with conversion, try to remedy difficulties in setting up the machinery
Manual control skill
- The use of measuring tools and electric/hand tools such as multi meter, micrometer, end sizes for replacing parts, setting up machines, etc.
- Working with chipping machines to make changes to elements of the production machines and/or tools (with an exactitude up to 0,001 mm)
- The use automatize systems (Maintenance Management System, MS Office, ERP)
Complexity/competence
You receive commands from the production engineering manager, or through e-mail and Maintenance Management System from the line. You work on the basis of machine and work instructions, safety procedures and quality.
After converting the machine, you decide whether the operator himself can set the machine. In acute disturbance in which the lines lie still, creative and inventive solutions should be sought. You decide in accordance with managerial and Production of external solutions should be sought
Responsibilities
- Stable running of the production lines to achieve the desired numbers in accordance with established quality requirements
- Observe to the quality, safety and worker safety rules
- Indicate to Documentation Engineers if adjustments to the machine and work instructions is needed
- Adjusting the parts list if there are changes of the production machines
- The correct setting of the production machines
- Pass information on to Production and coaching the production staff
- The work is monitored by random sampling or by the foreman on the basis of the result of the line per shift
Communication with:
- Production Engineering Manager at receiving contracts, discussing solutions etc.
- Foreman, team leader, operators when discussing issues or setting machines
- Members of the Japanese parent company in the exchange of technical information or retrieval of drawings
- External mechanics of machine supplying companies on serious disturbance
- Suppliers for the discussion of new equipment and/or tools
- Preparing reports on communication with the mentioned
Expression in foreign languages
The English language is required:
- In the preparation of reports
- To getting drawings and exchange of technical information to colleagues in the Japanese parent company

You have minimum an education in the direction of higher mechanical engineering, general operational techniques or equivalent, completed with knowledge of PLC - controls, and you have some years relevant work experience. You take initiative and strive for a further deepening of your professional knowledge and personal development. You are fluent in speaking and writing the English language.
