Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Needed for Outpatient Clinic in DC!!
Absolute Staffers is seeking to hire a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide services at Walter Reed Outpatient Clinic in Washington, DC. The Psychiatric NP will evaluate and treat patients with appointments within thirty (30) minutes of their appointed time unless an emergency or high priority medical need precludes meeting this time requirements. See all scheduled patients before the Psychiatric Clinic closes for the day. Provide indicated treatment for each complaint. In complex or distress cases shall provide medical care, summon the appropriate specialist when deemed necessary, and continue medical management as necessary. provide definitive medical care to reduce any emergency situation and enable the patient to safely continue care as an outpatient with follow-up care as required. Provide stable patients to specialty clinics as necessary. Respond to all emergencies inside the MTF, including cardiopulmonary arrests, as requested by authorized hospital personnel. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. |
| Capacités Requises: |
-Hold a minimum education of Master in Nursing, and graduation from a nurse practitioner program
-Have completed an Adult Nurse Practitioner-training program, which is accredited by the State Board of Nursing Examiners.
-Possess an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license.
-Provide experience and knowledge of the state-of-art clinical technologies for all age groups; treatment of active duty; retired personnel and beneficiaries in psychiatry.
-Have and maintain a valid, state license to practice medicine and a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number certificate.
-Have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. |
