- • Working knowledge of advanced accounting, familiar with US GAAP and Moroccan accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of banking systems
• Ability to be a team player with strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office application (Excel, Outlook, Work).
• Working knowledge of accounting systems and sub-ledgers.
• Ability to handle a large number of transactions
• Strong attention to detail skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Primary responsibilities of this position are:
• Reconciling and analyzing assigned general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
• Entering and reviewing general ledger entries
• Documenting requirements for transactions
• Coordinating and tracking receipt of entries from other departments for month-end close
• Recommending changes to processes to improve efficiency/controls
• Analyze, resolve issues with minimal supervision, communicating appropriate issues to manager.
