Position Summary
Interviews, screens, recruits, reviews resumes and checks references of professional and technical applicants in order to fill technical and IT job orders. Works under general supervision.
Responsibilities
• Determines priority of orders based on company standards and knowledge of sales goals and client importance.
• Recruits qualified candidates through media, job fairs, networking, screening, interviewing and any other avenues of recruiting.
• Tests skills and characteristics, performs reference checks and matches candidates to job openings. Communicates position requirements to candidates to ensure compatibility and presents candidate information to clients.
• Verifies employment references and arranges background checks if required.
• Ensures thorough and accurate documentation of all client and contract employee interactions.
• Assists with creating job descriptions for client positions and updates and maintains recruiter database.
• Interviews prospective candidates adhering industry standards and guidelines.
• May interact daily with clients.
• Obtains and reviews job orders by receiving description of work requirements, job duties and client specifications.
