| Description: |
Our client, a very prestigious Real Estate Master Developer based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking to
recruit a top notch Procurement Executive Director to join their executive team.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the incumbent will be responsible for all global procurements &
related contract functions by participating in the development of their procurement strategic plan
and the annual consolidated procurement plan in line with the ongoing project schedules & time
tables.
In addition, the incumbent will establish the procurement and contracting standards & procedures;
source vendors globally and develop professional relationships; manage the company's tendering
process right from RFP preparation, tender preparation, submission, opening, evaluation and
upto award control; conduct adequate sourcing processes regularly in order to ensure that supply
of current & fixed assets are identical with technical & physical specifications; negotiate
competitive prices including freight & shipping and ensure timely delivery of goods; monitor
inventory levels, stocking capacity & job time tables in order to ensure material availability as well
as guarantee cost effectiveness and review of contracts, purchase orders & claims.

| Capacités Requises: |
The ideal candidate must be a qualified engineer as well as an international procurement
professional. Having a degree in contracts management as well as being MCIPS qualified would
be a certain plus. He should have at least 15 years work experience out of which five years should
be in a similar role within the construction or real estate industry. He/ she should possess excellent
negotiation skills with in-depth knowledge of the tendering process, contracting legislation,
regulations & procedures. |
